Background
Upon my retirement from the U.S. Armed Forces in 1997, I realized there was a great need for quality security consulting services in a wide range of sub-specialties at a reasonable price. The tragic events of September 11, 2001 only heightened the need for such services. While it is terribly unfortunate that we live in such a dangerous and risk-filled world, it is refreshing to know that the U.S. is blessed with competent security professionals who can guide your organization through the perils of the age of the "War on Terror" and the technology revolution of the 21st Century business environment.
I am available to provide seminars on-site or via distance learning in the following areas:
Protective Services
Security/Law Enforcement Ethics
Managing a Cross-Cultural Security Force in a Global Venue
Aviation Security Planning
Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED)
International Security Management
Workplace Violence
Pre-Employment Screening
I currently have fully prepared presentations on the following contemporary issues:
"The Convergence of Public and Private Sector Security in the 21st Century"
"Chechen Terrorism: The Russian Link to Al-Qaeda"
Networking
Much of successful security consulting is about networking. In this era of specialization, it is critical to establish a network of contacts and trusted agents who can assist in the security challenges you face every day. Osprey has a multitude of such contacts hailing from both corporate and federal security communities.
I encourage all current security and law enforcement students and alumni of American Military University to participate in the blog available on this site. Additionally, I ask that you contact me with your current employment status and career planning initiatives for review and comment. As the program Manager - Security Management for American Military University, I take great pride in your accomplishments and in assisting you in any way possible to achieve success in your challenging and exciting career fields. In a very real sense, you hold the future of the Nation in your capable hands. Let's network!
